A nice Sunday here in DC. A good day for a little outdoor activity. Before I head out, I came across a great video about Lloyd Kahn. The 76 year old San Franciscan is Editor - In - Chief of Shelter Publications. Shelter specializes in books on building and architecture. Lloyd is also an avid skateboarder. He started his sport at 65.

The type of skateboarding Lloyd does is called downhill. It's similar to surfing. AOL did a 1 1/2 minute video on him. He shares his philosophy on skateboarding, being physically active, as well as safety tips for someone who's in their 70's taking on a sport that may involve spills. This guy is very cool.Now  I'm going outside.
