ABC News this week is doing a series on reinventing retirement. Correspondent and friend from my ABC days, Claire Shipman, is doing the series. Today's installment is on where boomers are moving.

Turns out one of the most popular places is Austin Texas.  Austin is certainly on my list of favorites; followed by San Francisco and Santa Fe. The city has no state income tax, cheap housing and a great cultural draw. Will Austin be overrun now? Can't tell. Will housing prices go up as a result? Not sure. Austin does have a great music scene though.
