The next level of comedy in music. Now musicians, as well as hackers can get bleery-eyed in front of a computer.

The Shred. Changing an original to something new and more entertaining.
First there's was the auto-tune video, a nifty piece of software. It was originally designed to make less than stellar singers actually stay in key. But, the program found a much more fun use, making people (or animals) appear to sing.
Now comes the the next level shred. This is much more complicated because it completely remove the existing auto, and replaces it with a total redubbing of a song. The person behind the controls actually writes a new song and new lyrics that makes the artist appear as if they're playing something new or singing some odd new lyric.
Brit, Tom Mitchell, aka allergonoise on YouTube, has redubbed Radiohead, Kings of Leon and Coldplay among others. The "shredder" that I like the most though, is Santeri Ojala in Finland, aka StSanders on YouTube. His Shreds are inspired. Taking the original works of The Beatles, Stones, Van Halen, he does an amazing job of changing the lyrics and songs to create a hilarious new composition.
