Javier Pujals has gone well beyond sending his resume in a colorful envelope.
This guy is smart. Javier Pujals needs a new job. He's educated, a graduate of Benedictine University with a BA in Business and Economics. Just looking at his resume shows he has lots of solid experience. The big problem, he's searching for a job now, with everyone else. There are plenty of people out there that are also smart and experienced. "If I could get the interview", he says on his web site "I know I would improve my chances of employment substantially."
So Javier, being the innovative person he is, took investing in his future literally, by paying for job interviews. He won $2000 on a local Chicago radio station morning show. That seed money became the investment he needed, along with a web site, Buyaninterview.com and some street corner hawking, to get the interview.
The level of the job determines how much he'll pay. For a managers position Javier will pay $200, a VP slot, $400, and a whopping $800 to be interviewed for a CEO position.
He hasn't gotten the perfect interview yet, but he does have a lot of well wishers leaving comments on the site and a recent interview on Chicago's WGN. I'll keep you updated on Javier's progress.
Here are a couple of YouTube videos about Javier.
